Steven Longland

Steven Longland graduated with a BSc Hons in human sciences and an MSc in chiropractic from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in 2002. He takes pride in gaining more knowledge with every patient he sees and has also attended many supplementary courses and seminars to explore the many benefits that chiropractic has to offer.
He has a special interest in treating pregnancy related pain as well as helping people of all ages to get the best healing their body can achieve while providing advice to help prevent the problem returning.

Vena Banga
BSc. (Hons) MSc. D.C. Registered Chiropractor
Vena Banga completed her MSc in Chiropractic at the University of Surrey, Guildford and graduated in 2005. She has been working for Heale’s Chiropractic Clinics, both Hitchin and Luton, for over 10 years. Over this time she has gained a lot of experience from both her colleagues and patients.
Vena maintains continual professional development by attending regular seminars and conferences, this allows her to keep up to date with changes to the profession and improve on her skills, practical and written.
She enjoys working as a Chiropractor as it allows her to help people and at the same time challenges her daily.

Robert Houlston
MChiro D.C. Registered Chiropractor
Robert Houlston graduated in 2011 from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic, upon graduation he relocated to Germany.
He has worked closely with American military Personal, Members of the German Police Force, Physiotherapists, martial artists and professional sports players. He has also experience treating children, pregnant women and in work related injuries.
Whilst in Germany he also worked as a lecturer at Dresden University teaching Orthopaedic Examination and Pathology.
After ten years working abroad Robert has returned to the UK and joined Heale’s Chiropractic Clinics.
He is a registered member of the General Chiropractic Council and the British Chiropractic Association.

Sonia Gharu
Bsc ITEC MICHT - Massage Therapist
Sonia Gharu qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist in 2015. She wanted to achieve this qualification, so she was able to enhance her understanding on anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology principles. She is specialised in many techniques, including: frictions, METs, soft tissue release, trigger point therapy, soft tissue mobilisations and advance massage techniques.
She also gained an additional achievement, which was graduating as a Sports Therapist in 2015.

Andy Skalecki
MICHT IIHHT - Massage Therapist
Andy Skalecki holds a degree in Rehabilitation and worked as a rehabilitation instructor in the L & D Stroke Unit with PT’s, OT’s and SALT Therapists.
He studied and gained FHT Diplomas in Swedish, remedial, deep-tissue, and sports massage at Barnfield College and has worked as a massage therapist at Heales Clinics for 18 years.
He is very passionate about the benefits of massage therapy and work directly with clients to help them reach their goals and improve their overall well-being by providing a therapeutic, relaxing experience.

Ela Bartos-Gajda is a qualified Massage Therapist with Practitioner Diploma in Holistic Massage with Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology.
Her knowledge allows her to advise patients on range of physiological and biomechanical issues using the appropriate and most effective techniques required for each client, including sports massage, deep and soft tissue massage, trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage, passive stretching, joints mobilisation.
She has also qualified and worked as a Physiotherapist in the early years of her career which given her skills in assessment and treatment with progression looking at improving patient’s motor skills and aiming for more functional abilities.
Ela is a registered member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and Massage Training Institute.
